Here Today... Gone To Hell!

Well today i decided that fuck the longish hair i currently have and said yes to agreeing to a headshave to raise money for these people at school.

To tell the truth the long hair is a bit of a hassle and i can't be bothered with it much anymore but i can't help feeling i may be making a mistake  :-\

It takes a long time to grow hair, but only a second to cut it all off.

Sure , cut it if you want to look like everyone else.

look at the benefits ... it takes seconds to wash your hair...which means you arent pouring as much of those nasty feminising chemicals in shampoo onto your skin...will you look like everyone else?...does it matter? i rarely see guys that have totally shaved their heads...so imo bald guys stand out more than someone with long hair so gnrfls comments makes no sense to me...

of course it all depends on whether you think youll lose a part of your personality by getting your hair cut off...you have to think about why you are reluctant to do it...it you have a lot of doubts then you will regret it afterwards...after all thats what happened to me when i got it cut off...i was in shock for about 3 days  :confused:...

Im not gonna go all the way and have a Steve Austin slaphead, im talking just a small amount of hair left. Like a number 1 or 2 or whatever. Beats getting my legs waxed like some other guys are doing at school  :hihi:

You're doing it for all the right reasons and, for a few more years at least, it'll all grow back.

Ah you don't have to wash it at all. My hair's long and it hasn't been washed for 6 weeks  :P And since we're on the subject of long hair... I made the front part of my hair into about forty plaits, twenty either side, and I have the rest tied up. And the plaits have heart and star-shaped, brightly coloured beads plaited into them. Unbelievably funky  ;D

I hear that, last weekend I let my girlfriend cut a good 7/8 inches of my hair... :'(

Hey, if it's for a good cause, raising money for something (what are you raising money for anyway?), then all the more power to you!!  It will grow back.

Firstly if your only doing it for charity...fuck that...charity starts at home...

Secondly i would not do it (although i did) you'll regret it after.  I had mine cut (my Dad thought i looked like a bum so he bribed me :) ) and i have regreted it since, i really liked it but i really can't be bothered going through the whole process again, on a positive note my hair cut when down well amongst the people i know at uni, they had always known me that way so they were shocked when they saw me without....one was so shocked she slept with me though i am still wondering whether that was a positive....anyway as a wrestling fan answer me this Angle or Edge? Bret Hart or Big Show? Howard Finkel or HBK?

I think it's a nice thing to do...it's only hair dude, it's not who u are, unless you're some sort of hair model and have just cut off your income...it'll grow back :yes:

i've decided i won't get dreads again, but i'm just gonna grow it ridiculously long. its tough right now. its at the stage where i can't tie it up, but its long enough to get in my face and stuff. ah well only about 2 years to go.

I have my hair shaved too.. I think you either want shaved or long hair.. I hate in between.. too much time and effort to style.. especially if you don't have good hair for styling.. like mine.. just sits forward all the time.

Warning though, once its shaved it takes forever to grow back.. and will look a bit messy growing it out for a while!

I sound like way too much of a metrosexual I think!

I'm  growing my hair long again. I've had  it at least down the bottom of my neck almost my whole life. But I have nothing to worry about hair, I'm always going to have it because my mom's dad never went bald and he died when he was 74.

Well, mine was long enough.

And getting it cut was the one of the best things I've ever done.

Mine never got...too long.

But short hair is so much less of a hassle, I probably won't ever go back unless I get famous...

The only time I ever miss it is when I see old photos.

...But then I just think of what it used to be like walking in the rain, on a really windy day, and I consider shaving all my hair off.

Nah, it's alright  :P I'm gonna take the plaits and beads out, wash it(!), then re-plait it without the beads though, to make myself slightly less chronically unemployable. The whole process will only take me between 5 and 7 hours...

A friend I was living with up until a few days ago when I decided to move back in with my parents; she hasn't washed her hair since January, and it's really long too.

Its this Young Enterprise thing at school. People need money to produce this digital postcards or something. Im kinda like Jim, i hate a windy day with long hair so its getting done.

Choped my hair off this past May.? Liked the short hair for about 48 hrs then I was kicking my own self in the ass and am now growing it back.? My hairs in the in the ugly phase right now.? ?Another 6 months to go! >:(

My buddy told me i'd prob feel like that also. Regret it later on. Hope not.

I cut mine as well, used to be almost long enough had like a month to go before I could tie it back, but I was like fuck it, I dyed the shit out of it brown, strawberry, black, blonde, blonde and back to my original it went pink got it redone. so I had too many split ends, so my hair is short now so I'm growing it back, eventually. So I wont have soooooooo many split ends and damaged hair. Hair grows back, so much easier to do when short I might add.

ofcourse, if you wanted to please the ladies its probably a better idea to keep it short.

im in the tough stages of my hair. too short to tie up. but too long to maintain. its all shaggy. ah well 1 and a bit years to go. :peace:
