If you have a pop-up blocker you may have to turn it off while you're inserting quotes, because it tends to block them. If there is alot of extra stuff, just delete everything except the part you want to respond to. Just be sure to leave the line that says "quote author = ...." at the very beginning of the quote, and at the end you need to leave the "/quote". Does that help? If you ask me, its too much trouble. But I think you just copy and insert the "quote author.." line before each part that you want to quote, and insert the "/quote" at the end of each quoted line. But without this sign in the middle of the words quote. its simple.
