Just an idea.  I don't know the legalities associated with something like this, but could Jarmo set up a betting pool where board members could bet on a release date?  Say for instance I think the album's going to be released in the next 2 months, and another person says I'm nuts, could both persons send Jarmo a couple bucks, and when those 3 months are up, Jarmo could distribute the funds?  Hell, Jarmo could take a % cut and make some money off the deal.  Any chance?  It would be interesting to see people putting their money where there mouth is.

I did a thread like this about a year ago, and ADZ or another mod said that it's been tried before and it doesn't work. I dont remember the exact reason, but it was something about how the wait goes on forever so how could anyone actually win the bet.

Theres no doubt in my mind that you will win lol. The announcement for who is playing RIR 5 should be sometime in November/December and I have a real good feeling that Guns will be there this time.  :beer:

Well, going by the release date rumor I've heard from several people, we should get an announcement in late April. But if the release date I heard is false, I will bet that we dont hear anything at all next year.

So the bet is announcement date for CD or RIR gig? I was betting date for CD will not be announced before this date....I wll bet that there is no official announcement for CD's release this year. OK? That is my wager. If he does RIR and says some bullshit on stage, that would not count as official.... :hihi: He's already talked on stage..... :hihi: I want an official announcement of some kind!  ;D

We had a thread like this a while ago...haha, when the poster lost, I busted chops for the money (I didn't really care, but I wanted to be a prick :hihi:), he never came back....not under that name anyway. I think it was a wager for CD anyway....oh well, it's been a while.

If they were gonna do Lisbon but only backed out due to Bucket quitting, why wouldnt they do RIR5?
