Also, with that kind of layover, the first thing I'd do is hit the main ticket desk/check in area in the layover city to see if there is room on an earlier flight. I've had layovers like that a couple times before and both times they were able to get me standby on an earlier flight... You'll have much better luck with doing that if the flights are domestic. If you're traveling internationally...well...chances are you're stuck with the 7 hour layover (YUCK!) Title: Re: Can you leave the airport during a layover ?
