Title: The Insane Clown Posse
Post by: damien24 on September 08, 2005, 07:29:01 AM
who listens, (or has listened) to them- what do you think of them,  has anyone seen them live? stuff like that-

imo-   once you get past the "shock" value of what they do i think you'd find some great songs, hell great albums too

they seem to care more about their music and their fans than anyone else in the biz PERIOD.

put your fav. song/album up if you got one too

wow-  one limey hates and no one else has the balls to voice their opinion-

who the hell is Mr. Bungles and how are they wanting to be him,  also ICP were around maybe 10 years before slipknot, and would never strive to be like them.

almost all rappers rap over a track live, (eminem, 50cent, ludacris)  hell-   almost everyone you see singing on a stage (not counting local or indie bands- but major label bands) are singing and playing their insterments on to a track  (motley crue, ozzy, etc..)    not just your R.Kellys and ashlee simpsons.

but back to the topic at hand, i have much respect for these guys, im not one of those guys who paints his face up and think the whole axe-murdering scene is cool-  but on as far as production value and quality-

check out these tunes -     Suicide Hotline, Terrible,  Pass me by, chicken huntin', cottoncandy.     those are just off the top of my head.

and sorry your mate did'nt have a good time at their show-  but keep in mind a show in europe just means a vacation to them,  they very rarely leave the midwest.

i want others to voice their hate or love  (im guessing more hate then love)-  but do it anyways cause im keeping this thread alive

I think the comic book guy from the Simpsons would say it best:

Worst band ever...

i find that most who say that hav'nt really seen or heard anything outside of a video, or eminem trashing them  (Eminem was a Huuuuuge fan at one point too).

they have the most... unique career and fanbase then any other band ever,  its a little strange.   these guys went from being pisspoor whiteys in detroit-  when they started rapping they put on make-up so people would'nt recognize them (maybe they knew they sucked too?)   -  and somehow turned all that into having millions of crazy-hard-core fans (ok.. maybe only 1-2million in total but its still millions).   they sell most of their crap over the net-  and pull in a couple million a year just from that, they have other 'artists' on thier own label that they make money off-  plus cash from touring/wrestling/movies- plus they put together a festival every year somewhere in the states.    these guys are sittin pretty my man.
