Title: Quiet, Take A Step Back, & Think about it, all this right here >... Post by: Buddha_Master on September 03, 2005, 03:37:06 AM dudes...dudes.
...and the ladies. What was the moment it hit you that, Axl's still got it? You in any GN'R groove now, or has it been awhile since you felt it? I am not talking about listening to it. I am talking about really hearing the shit. On the norm, how do you listen? What are the conditiones of the at-most-phere? You the sit there and bob your head type, the get up and dance to the shit, or a mixture of both (where you start rockin y'er head then you get up and move to the shit) type? I know me. You know you? Spill it. ...this is soulful shit, talking with a deep and smooth voice shit, and the shit should be read like that. Title: Re: Quiet, Take A Step Back, & Think about it, all this right here >... Post by: Dr. Blutarsky on September 03, 2005, 10:36:28 AM Good music and good art never gets old, it stands the test of time. Ever look at a Dali painting and think it looks dated? HIs most famous works are from the 1930`s and it still turns heads and intrigues people to this day. I see GNR in that same way.

Post by: Rob on September 04, 2005, 01:00:19 AM Its very true that good music doesn't get old, however I think it can start to lose something if its overplayed. For example, I (like everybody else on this board I'm sure) listen to a shitload of GN'R. And after a while, the songs don't have the same impact on me that they did a few years ago when I first got into them. I still loved the songs more than any other songs in the world, but there was something lacking. So what I do now is I space out my GN'R listening. I'll only listen to GN'R a few times a week. And I've found that when I do listen to them, I appreciate it much more. It kinda keeps things fresh.
