Title: Exploding batteries Post by: Tj on August 31, 2005, 09:49:07 PM One of the AA batteries inside my cordless mouse just exploded. It made a loud pop all of a sudden, which was quite interesting, but a bit weird. It's not too messy, but what does one do with batteries such as that one? It doesn't present any sort of fire risk or anything like that, does it? I guess the other battery might wanna explode some time soon too, for all I know.

I got some acid on my fingers but I washed it off. The mouse doesn't work now :'( I put new batteries in, but it just won't work.

The results were a little worse in that case.
