man not one of the band members said it was comign out this year, dont blame them.

If Chinese Democracy did come out this year at Thanksgiving, a tour wouldn't start untill the new year anyway.  So it is still possible.

I took from it GNR may have a tour in Canada in `06. CD can still drop in `05. Its halfway thru august already & no word yet. It `s possible. But I will not hold my breath.

i think when chinese democracy starts the band members (not axl) will be the ones who care about the fans most....

it seems like 2005 is gone, too. but 2006 seems pretty realistic, since rio is taking place in that year also. we`ll see anyway....

When will you people learn? There is no timeline anymore....for anything. Rio doesn't mean shit. Simply put, we will be lucky to EVER get an album. So, quit worrying about the "timing" of the album. The new band is completely irrelevant to the music industry and has been since the tour ended. Whether it is next month or ten years from now, it doesn't make any difference. Any idiot that comes to these boards will buy the cd whenever it comes out.  :confused: :confused:

at least richard is responding to gnr questions, maybe the album will be released this year with a tour in '06?

who knows? I'm keeping my fingers crossed anyway.

funny that the other email says the album isn't quite done but this email implies that they are thinking about touring next year.

personally i wouldn't think they would tour again without the support of a new album. that's jus my opinion though

I see Chinese Democracy as something that will be inevitably realised eventually. There's no time line but it's a matter of time.

PPBEBE, I agree and am 99% certain it will eventually surface. However, it is a silly game to keep saying it has to be out in 2005 then if not, at least by Rio 2006, then whatever event is next. In reality, Axl doesn't have to do anything and as we are painfully aware of, won't do anything until he wants to. There will continue to be new generations of Gnr fans. Some will leave with disinterest but a new fan will just take their place. :peace:

Considering Sanctuarys financial state and Axls legal issues, which include big financial worries, I believe it's possible that CD could be released sooner rather than later.

 I have been waiting for a gnr record or at least an album from Axl since 94..... :-\
sometimes it's funny but most of the time it is just sad.

It wouldn't surprise me if Axl just called up a radio station at some point and announced the release date.  We'll wait and wait for something huge and most of us will miss it. 

Axl appears to do things his way on his schedule, logic or good business practice don't seem to have anything to do with it.

Plans change in the world of Gn'R pretty damn quickly, you must be new her to not know that. That statement was made how many months ago..so what if its pushed back till begining of '06. Your still gunna buy it..

It takes about 2 months to do all the promotion for a record.

I have been a fan of the band since 85-86 along with millions of other people who were gripped by the band when they exploded onto the scene.
