I don't like Robin's new site especially the "me first" part because (IMO) he's very judgmental.

People shouldn't ask other people to express themselves when they really only want a certain type of response.

Robin hurt my feelings.? :'(

robin seems very cool and interesting.
i just love the way he plays guitar, and this new website is much better than the old one.

i was happy to see he's still in the band, to me HE is the new guns n'roses guitarist
(buckethead is good too, but more metal and less feeling to me).

Not to be redundant , but since you brought up Bucket being "more metal , less feeling" type of guitar player I have to ask ... have you ever listened to Buckets albums titled "colma" & "electric tears" ?  ???

No he hasn't, otherwise he wouldn't be making such an unfounded statement. People who call Buckethead metal or a speedmonster -or the most laughable of 'm all: less emotional- haven't even scratched the surface of the body of instrumental brilliance he already has created at age 36. Emotional guitarplaying isn't about bending every note to the point where all dogs in a 10-mile radius start howling with pain, or repeating the same pentatonic scales for ages.

Ok, you love Buckethead, we get it.

No need to "ruin" the thread about Robin's site with that.

i don't know all the work of buckethead, but i admit i enjoy to listen population override, and
think he can play what he wants in his own style.

anyway, i don't talk about his own stuff, but what he played and how he played it in guns n'roses.
and you can't say here he didn't play less rough, bluesy, scratchy than Slash did, or the way robin plays.
his sound is more clean and metallic, less bluesy, i suppose it's just a fact, he doesn't mean it's worse.
but for guns, i prefer the sound of robin, and the way he disconstructs things, in a destroy way.

sorry i'm french, i suppose i'm pretty limited with my english vocabulary to express my feelings.

Wasnt trying to "ruin" a robin thread at all Jarmo. Just hoping to clear up a common misconception about BH since he was brought into the thread by someone else.
Peace.  :peace:
