Title: GNR Alias?? Post by: DustNroses on August 20, 2005, 05:52:05 AM Have Guns N Roses ever played a gig under an alias? I know that the sex pistols did it a few times as the spots (sex pistols on tour) and silverchair did some gigs here in aus as the Costanzas. I think the general idea of bands doing this is to get back to the club scenes and maybe warm up gigs. My main question is, Would we know if GnR did some small gigs under an alias and what would they be called?

Green Day put out an entire CD under a different name , and w/out any promotion. Wouldn't it be fucked up if C.D. had been out for 3 years under some other name? I know it wouldn't happen, but hey! What promoter is going to want to book GnR, Maybe an alias is all they will be able to do for a while. And CD being out already??? Well anythings possible but im sure we would know by now.
