anyway,if you want others to fully understand the rules then you need to re-write them.rules should be written firmly not loosely.don't use words like please.do not is a better way to go because people will fully understand.

the sudden interest was due to the fact 2 of your members didn't like my pic so they decided to take it upon themselves and tell me to remove my pic.i just couldn't believe that such a rule could exsitst due to the stupidity of it so i asked them to show me the rule,instead they showed me the request made from the board which you turned into a rule.

It causes a few things:

- Pages load slower for people who are on slow connections. There are other people on this board, you're not the only one posting here.

- Big signatures are annoying in my opinion. Sometimes when I read other boards I'm not sure if I'm supposed to read the posts or look at the big signatures. Here the posts are the most important thing, that's why the signatures are supposed to be kept small.

- I don't really wanna spend time telling people to make their signatures smaller because they decided to use a 1024 x 768 dekstop wallpaper as their signature. It's much more convenient to say "no graphics". Makes my "job" easier.

There's no request there.  A request would be ASKING "Would you please hold?"  The rules do not say "Would you please not use pictures in your signature?  We would greatly appreciate it if you did not."  They say please do not use pictures.  Big difference between the two.
