Personal answer...

For me the answer is yes, but i sit at a pc all day at work with nothing to do so that is why i am logged on all the time, But if i lost this job i would still visit this site frequently..well.. as much as i could.

mmmm....maybe...i first came on here just wondering about the status of the band then i checked out the other sections, hung around and really liked the place, so whenever i'm bored i come on here, but i do anyway it's one of the first things i do when i get up.  Though i do have an obsessive/addictive personality....

My wife gets angry that I don't come out of the room too often, so I built this so I can be online on the HTGTH and play with the kids at the same time.

Your reason is the same as mine.  I log in over 50 hrs a week at my job and I'm always online.  Hell I don't even own a computer at home.  I'm more often than not at work.  So I guess I get paid to visit HTGTH! :beer:

It's nice to share point of views in this forum and discuss (even debate) for some stuff.
I wish some places for real communication (face to face) existed, something like open libraries (with music on backround) with large tables so the people could discuss all together. Something in the style of the forums. I think forums were created for that reason. Unfortunately you cannot meet lots of people easily today and make a conversation. Cafeterias or pubs don't handle too much with that thing.

All in all, I think people just come here to communicate. Forums are a substitute of communication. Boredom? Yap it's boredom if you stay locked in 4 walls. So a forum helps you to get out figuratively. It could be better though.

I come here because I love guns n roses.... and I like talking with other people who love guns n roses, I come on whenever i get the oppourtunity, which unfortunatly isnt that often!

Yeah I am bored which is why I go on the Internet. I have a goal to lose interest in the computer when I'm out of school and on my own because it takes so much time out of my life. But I'll never lose interest in the bands I love like Guns n' Roses. It's funny sometimes though, it seems like a lot of members register here and aren't G n' R fans.

I think it seems that way cause its so hard to have a positive attitude about being a GN'R fan.  We get dicked over more than fans of any other band.  If the old band was still together, or if Axl were to just release some fucking music, this place would be a whole lot happier.  Who knows though...maybe there are some people here that are only here to bash Axl.
