Title: Re: Little Britain Post by: 2NaFish on August 11, 2005, 01:48:52 PM utter pish. once you've seen one episode there's no need to watch it ever again. The media keep saying it's hilarious but it's on a par with My Family.

One day I will be forced to stab you in the eye with a rusty spoon. i dont undastand wot u mean Skeletor Just kidding, what I meant was that sometimes when I read your posts my head asplode because of all the abbreviations. S'all good. edit: By the way, abbreviating "any" to "n e" doesn't help at all, it's still three characters. Only thing is it's more annoying. Had to mention that. Title: Re: Little Britain Post by: Is he struggling? on August 13, 2005, 04:15:24 AM Loved the Radio series and the first TV series, but Little Britain took a big step back with the second TV series. IMO, Lucas and Walliams actually regressed as they were writing it - too many of the new charachters relied on silly visual effects for laughs, while many of the jokes were annoyingly crude - almost Graham Norton-esque (and that is the biggest criticism I can make of anything). For example, the Daffyd sketches invariably degenrated into lots of people running around and shouting 'cock' and 'minge', and there were no jokes in the Bubbles De Vere sketches beyond the grotesque nudey suit. Such a shame.
