Title: Justin Bergh used SCOM riff
Post by: remcognr on July 21, 2005, 08:42:23 AM
Haven't heard this before...

While cleaning my house, I found this cd I once got with a music magazine I bought in South Africa (Magazine Stage)
It's a compilation cd of a South African singer/songwriter called Justin Bergh, and I decided to give it a try...

I was pretty surprised when I heard the opening track called "Love The Sinner"... It has got  the intro guitar riff on SCOM on the background!

You can download a piece here: http://www.justinbergh.com/downloads.asp

or directly here: http://www.justinbergh.com/showdownloads.asp?ID=1

Oh, and overall the cd sucked bad... stopped cleaning after track 3...  :hihi:

[edit: Had another listen, and I really think this guy's a huge GN'R/Slash fan or so... almost literally heard the guitar solo of Slash's Snakepit 'Beggars and Hangers-on" on one of the other tracks]  :hihi:

It's so faint in the background its barely audible.  I only really recognize the drums at the very beginning.

Maybe somebody was listening to the song during recording... You can hear a door slam in Aerosmith's 'Nobody's Fault'...
