What I find hard to believe in all this CD mess is how Axl just refuses to defend himself. It's really getting pathetic. He is not the same person he used to be. Its strange how someone who cares about what others think just sits back while he gets turned into a pop culture joke. A great album would shut these people up. Or he could just release some sort of statement bashing those people.Cmon Axl! GET IN THE RING!!

It's like a book critic criticizing a book written by a successful author.  People are critics because they aren't successful doing the real thing.

If you look closely, everyone that criticizes Axl is either jealous of him, or they are not even close to being in the same league with him successfully and musically.

surfrider, good point. Remember when Jakob Dylan made some comment about Axl? I dont remember what he said, but it was pathetic. Who is he to publicly criticize Axl? The Wallflowers have one good song. He doesn't have a good enough resume to be putting down Axl.

This has been happening before as well. They used to bash him at every corner, except then he had records and songs which defended him, and people took note of that.

He doesn't have to tell them to fuck off, it won't achieve anything really, all it will do is spread more stupid comments, he must just release the damn record, and let them all feel like shit by themselves.

But how many of these comments that are made about Axl does he actually read aobut u think axl reads metal sludge or any of these other magazines that stars such as him most likely dont read im sure axls not patroling the internet searching for people bad mouthing him cuz if he was he'd be spending alot more time suing people for slander with all the people that talk shit about him.
