Title: Celebrity Guns Fans Post by: Clarepants on January 06, 2005, 10:28:38 PM Hi I'm new, I don't believe this has ever been a topic, so my question is who're the known celebrity GNR fans in the public eye? Actors? Current musicians?
These people come to mind for me; Conan O'Brien, Jimmy Fallon, Ahhhnuld, and NWA I believe (they had an appetite for destruction song, but the lyrics don't have much to do with the band...). Title: Re: Celebrity Guns Fans Post by: coolman78SLASH on July 01, 2005, 10:02:23 AM MetalSludge asked this questiones to a bunch of famous, and less famous musicians;
?If you were abducted by aliens, but were allowed to bring one CD to listen to while they poked and prodded you for weeks, which CD would it be and why?? Some of the answers were this ones: Krys Baratto, ModiFY / ex-Samantha 7: If I could just have one cd I believe it would be Fleetwood Mac Rumors. That record is an absolute classic in every way. Now, should I be sticking it in some young alien girl and a leg were to knock the cd onto the spaceship floor and it gets scratched, I would need to replace it with the best rock and roll record ever.... G N' R Appetite. Now, should I ..... just kidding. Inga Brittingham, Naked Beggars: I guess if I had to get prodded, first off, I would hope that the aliens would be hot! Wouldn't that be cool. Maybe we could turn it into some S&M kind of shit. LOL! If I had to absolutely listen to one fricken CD over and over, I guess it would have to be...... Gun's N Roses... Appetite. And if I didn't come home knowing every fricken word on the CD I would be pissed. For a chick who has major ADD and other shit, I would rather not listen to anything while I'm being prodded. Takes away from my concentration!! LOL! Christian, Killingbird: Guns N'Roses "Appetite For Destruction". It's so good that it could make the probing tolerable for at least a couple days... maybe a week. Alex Grossi, Quiet Riot / ex-Beautiful Creatures: It depends how hard they were gonna prod and poke, if the CD was just to pass the time I would bring something cool like "Appetite for Destruction" or "Shout at the Devil".... BUT.... If the poking and prodding was gonna hurt, then I would have to bring something really terrible like Steelheart, Trixter or one of those Cleopatra Techno Remix Metal Tribute albums.... that would probably take my mind off the aliens. Fabio Jafet, video producer / director, "Waking Up Dead" "Chinese Democracy" because if if that album truly came out, it would mean I was truly abducted by aliens and resistance is futile! so might as well go along with it and enjoy the prodding! And poking. I also remember watching sports desk and they were asking sport stars what songs gets them pumped up. They showed Hulk Hogan and he said G n'R, espically Welcome to the Jungle. Also there was this american football pllayer who was drafted by Green Bay, I think he name was Tony Mandridge. He was one of those high draft picks but turned out to be a bust. Anywho, he was a massive G n' R fan. They had a a special on him in Sports Illustrated and the guy had a few Gun n' Roses tatoos. He also talked about working out to their music. Another not too famous but cool hockey player is Turner Stevenson, I think he's in New Jersey now. Anywho when he was with the Habs ( Montreal) they talked to him and he was showing them his tatoos. He had the cover of the First Snake pit cd on his shoulder. He too was a huge Gun's and Slash fan. That's all I can think off of hand. Incidentally they wanted the debut album to outsell Appetite for Destruction, tour the world, sell out Wembley Stadium 3 nights in a row and burn out. 05.27.2009 ?All the bands and musicians I grew up on and loved, like Led Zeppelin and Jimi Hendrix ? it?s their names that are on their songs. That?s the beauty of buying a record by a real artist. Guns N? Roses? Appetite for Destruction was written by Guns N? Roses, not some weak-asses like those lame songwriters for Aerosmith. ?Aerosmith wrote great songs like ?Dream On? and ?Back in the Saddle? when they were on booze and drugs. Next thing you know, they get sober and bring songwriters in and then it?s the most watered down s***. http://www.gibson.com/en-us/Lifestyle/Features/zakk-wylde-527/ Title: Re: Celebrity Guns Fans Post by: Ines_rocks! on September 07, 2009, 03:00:54 PM Adam Levine

It's not very often you get a peak into an A-lister's iPod playlist, so here's your chance to see what a superstar like Nicolas Cage rocks in his ear buds. His son is also a reported metal musician who dabbles in black metal, too. Maybe one day we'll interview him right here on Noisecreep. Check out this exclusive video clip where both talk about GNR being an essential, go-to band for them. 8/2/2010 9:24 AM PDT by TMZ Staff It could have been a recipe for disaster ... but when former boy-bander Joey Fatone grabbed the mic at a bar this weekend and busted out some Guns N' Roses -- dude blew everyone away. http://www.tmz.com/videos?autoplay=true&mediaKey=1462c367-e6d0-4c26-9052-11ca228ee42c It all went down at the Dubliner Irish Pub at Mohegan Sun Casino in Connecticut this past weekend -- when Fatone went on stage with local band "Red Light" and channeled his inner Axl for "Sweet Child O' Mine."
