I'm watching the first one now, n' so far it seems quite good, but not outstanding. He looks like he's trying a bit too hard.

jon stewart is trendy now, he's pratically in style.. I dug the show for a while but now everyone kisses his ass

i discovered the show back in  2002 when i went to the us.

but jon stewart is not the best, his team .... Colbert and Helms, man they ROCK :)

Well the daily show started in the 1990's with craig kilborn then eventually a few years ago I guess around 02 jon stewart took over..

he has always had a revolving team.. I use to like Back in Black with lewis black the comedian, and you had beth litleford and all these toher people...

Very funny. The guy is SHARP.

Daily Show Rocks.  It's a news show parody in some aspects but he actually does report new the first 5 or 7 minutes of the show.  It actually won a Peabody award for the coverage of the 2000 election as well as numerous Emmy's.  Its the only news programming I watch daily.

  A couple months ago, Mr. Bill "No Spin Zone" O'reilly of Fox New claimed that viewers of the Daily Show were "stoned slackers."  A poll was taken and it showed that the average Daily Show viewer knew more about current events than the average Bill O'Reilly viewer.

There was a similar poll showing Fox viewers knew less than the average person about current events. Which, is probably what Murdock (owner of Fox and right-wing fascist nut job) wants to begin with.

Murdock got sued by some official in Europe a while back for slander (false reporting on Fox) or some mistruth, and the guy won. It's much harder to do that here, so false reports fly along, unchecked.

Good news is that O'reilly's ratings are dropping fast.

daily also exposed orielly after his softball spin filled interview with bush. it was hilarious. i think thats how the fued got started.

O'reilly also despises Franken, who always calls him on his bullshit. Franken, also fights with humor, and pissed OR off so much he began to shout "Shut up, just shut up!".

Let's not forget what a hypocrite O.R. is either. He paid off that girl for the dirty phone messages he left, once her lawyer said he would go public with the tapes. Cha-Ching!

It wasn't like  a criminal case where he could face a long time in jail. If ole Bill hadn't made those calls then he would not have paid the money.

That poll also showed the average "daily show" viewer to be more likely to have a college education.
