I was watching CNN the other day, and they had this segment about the top 20 albums of the past 20 years. Guess what? GNR was not on the list! I couldn't believe it. I dont remember everything on it, or I would post it. I was just shocked that there was no mention of GNR. It was the worst list I ever seen.

He also said he come up with that riff as a joke, but the guys in the band liked how it sounded. I'll bet he probably warmed up to it after a while though. After all it is the song that put them on the map.
