since there's a fucken movie called MADAGASCA and it has NOTHING to do with yours truley, do you think GNR will change its title back to what it was so there is no confusion at all??

I betcha Axl did get pissed at this, 'cause people will get smart about shit and its proberly gonna change the feel of the song alltogether hey!!

There's a country called Madagascar that has been around prior to the song and the movie.
I've seen many documentaries on the telly or books entitled Madagascar since I was a kid.
