How does the Slash solo sound performed acousticly? Title: Re: and yet another Contraband edition.... :) Post by: mikegiuliana on June 19, 2005, 05:45:07 AM I think they need to leave rca thishas to be the one wanting to release this album all the time with new stuff.. I'll just download the acoustic I am sick of hearing about CB and I am sure the band is too..
Title: Re: and yet another Contraband edition.... :) Post by: Railantics on June 19, 2005, 07:16:56 AM I probabaly will buy this, just for the sake of buying it, but it's just a lilttle money raker for VR.
Title: Re: and yet another Contraband edition.... :) Post by: mikegiuliana on June 19, 2005, 10:23:32 AM No one is even going to care aboutt his unless they are on the vr mailing list.. CB is dead in the water.. They should just make a small record like lies and do mostly covers and add some small changes to songs they have done, maybe some live ones.. I am perfectly fine with what I have, wantt he dvd and the next album.. I am done with buying anything associated with CB.. It has to be an rca thing because contrabvand is finished this will only hurt sales of the new version of the song..
Title: Re: and yet another Contraband edition.... :) Post by: jarmo on June 19, 2005, 01:26:39 PM Imagine if they had put out a "Dirty Little Thing" EP with the all b-sides from the singles (all the covers and maybe that new track on it).
I would've bought that.... /jarmo Title: Re: and yet another Contraband edition.... :) Post by: mikegiuliana on June 19, 2005, 01:28:48 PM Imagine if they had put out a "Dirty Little Thing" EP with the all b-sides from the singles (all the covers and maybe that new track on it). yeah man they should have really done a lies album covers & live songs it would have been great.. I hope when they stop touring they can be more aware of what is going on and see what products are being packaged..I would've bought that.... /jarmo B sides with the next single would have been cool.... Thank you god. I'm now gonna own 4 copies of Contraband.... :'(
Does anybody know if you can buy it at a retailer or did u have to buy it at the festival? Title: Re: and yet another Contraband edition.... :) Post by: nesquick on June 24, 2005, 06:00:38 PM Sorry guys I will be very rude but for me that's called bad marketing strategy to sell records to pigeons.
One copy is enough. Title: Re: and yet another Contraband edition.... :) Post by: mikegiuliana on June 24, 2005, 06:23:54 PM releasing anything else associated with contraband is just dumb, the album is dead way off the charts and has no more selling power.. Make fucking mini record with covers and live songs..
Title: Re: and yet another Contraband edition.... :) Post by: Izzy on June 25, 2005, 05:53:20 AM I wonder - if band X did this would that make them money grabbing sell outs?
Seems a ploy to sell more albums.... Title: Re: and yet another Contraband edition.... :) Post by: mikegiuliana on June 25, 2005, 06:48:40 AM I wonder - if band X did this would that make them money grabbing sell outs? Seems a ploy to sell more albums.... No because I would know it's not them trying to do this.. No way the band is like lets keep re releasing it.. I am sure they want a new album more then anyone.... People need to know no one is going to be buying this album again... Maybe a few die hards but that wil have zero affect on the placing of the album and it won't change sales really.. This album is done baring some amazing hit single.. They did an acoustic version of Plush as a single like VR did with Fall To Pieces. I see a trend here....
