Title: Double talkin jive live intro same as metallicas end of saniterium. Post by: mrlee on June 18, 2005, 05:39:10 AM on the tokyo japan double talkin jive intro its like almost the same as the end of metallicas saniterium. Is it coicidence? or are there other reasons.

Post by: jameslofton29 on June 19, 2005, 07:30:44 PM Yeah, Metallica always had some strange fascination with GNR. I never understood it. The fascination goes way back, even before 1992. Metallica practically begged them to open for them back on the 1988 'Justice' tour. Why would they want an opening band who would blow them off the stage? For some reason, the GNR-Metallica 88 Tour never happened. I dont remember why. Maybe someone here can dig up an article where the bandmembers discuss it.
