I have a subscription to the mag, and at least every other month they will have a small GNR mention, although sometimes negative. Magazines like this are the only thing that keeps the GNR name floating around out there. When CD comes out, I cant wait to read the various reviews the album gets. Blender will be one of the first reviews I read.

At the bottom of P. 48 there is a little cartoon called "Pop History 10,000 B.C.-A.D. 5,000,000 The Making of Guns N' Roses Chinese Democracy." The first scene says "Work on Guns N' Roses long-awaited new album actually began 10,000 years before the birth of Christ. It shows Axl with his arms spread open while saying "So it's agreed-we'll call it Chinese Democracy." There are two cavemen looking at Axl, one going "ugh!" The second scene says "By 2050, record executives were worried. Would the album ever be finished by the now-aged Axl Rose?" The picture shows the record exec saying "It doesn't seem like you'll ever finish the album, Axl." Axl, much larger and with an I.V. attached to himself, says "Are you the emptying-my-colostomy-bag guy?" And the final scene says "By the time the CD finally came out, mankind had evolved into a race of floating brains who spoke largely in binary code." The picture shows two brains (no pun intended) listening to the album on a CD player. One says "11010011101", and the other responds "You're right-this IS even worse than The Spaghetti Incident." Sorry I don't have a scanner, but I'm sure the fellow Gunners will have it up soon. Thought it was kinda interesting. It's kind of humorous because you have to take everything with a grain of salt. That being said, fuck Blender and anyone who doubts Axl's ability to produce and release Chinese Democracy.
