Who is playing lead on Hammerhead and Bomb?  sounds kind of like Slash.

No it's not, the lead guitarist on all his solo albums is Rick Richards, formally from the Georgia Satellites. He's like Slash with Izzy's sound. His solos are always cool and full of melody, awesome slide guitarist aswell 8)

Rick played a great solo in Crackin' Up from Ju Ju Hounds Live Ep recorded in Dublin.
The lineup for Hammerhead and Bomb is:
Izzy Stradlin - Vocals, Rhythm Guitar, Bass
Rick Richards - Lead Guitar
Taz Bentley - Drums

A friend of Izzy - J.T. who played on Do You Love Me did also play on Like a Dogs sessions but not on those 2 songs.

Do any of those songs sound like the stuff he did with GN'R (but not You Aint the First) because I dont really like much of the Izzy stuff ive heard (I got River and Ju Ju Hounds)

117 degrees and especially Ride On sound a lot more aggressive and punkrock then JuJu and River. River sounds polished compared to the others. The guitars on On Down The Road sound like the recording with Steven of Do You Love Me.

Imo some songs on 117 degrees and Ride On sound like they're taken straight from UYI, only much better with loud guitars on it. 117 degrees has the most variety of the all, fast punkrock, blues, rockabilly, acoustic and surfrock. All raw sounding. You can listen to it here: http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/tg/detail/-/B000005ZL2/qid=1120640246/sr=1-2/ref=sr_1_2/002-9633574-5485643?v=glance&s=music

Ride On is the most aggressive sounding Izzy album to date, it's in the same vain of 117 degrees only less variety and more punkrock sounding

As for the Like A Dog samples, those are more aggressive sounding the all the other stuff of Izzy

'Do You Love Me' is way older than that, dude. It was written by Berry Gordy Jr. and performed by the Dave Clark 5.

Yeah the bootleg got only half of the show

Crackin' Up and Pressure Drop were put as a bonus songs on japanese edition of 117* and Ain't It A Bitch single.
But only Pressure Drop can be found on the bootleg...

EP

1. Bucket O' Trouble (Stradlin)
2. Cuttin' The Rug (Stradlin)
3. Jivin' Sister Fanny (Mick Jagger/Keith Richards)
4. Time Gone By (Stradlin/Richards)
5. Highway 49 (Joe Williams)

I don't know why the cut off Rocker... this song is excellent.
