My computer seems to be running perfectly but somehow no browser seems to open any pages......its just doesnt go through...my uni had installed a new antivirus on it and ever since ive had this problem...any suggestions on what i should do ? You should uninstall your browser and then reinstall it with Win XP cd, or you can use another browser like Netscape Navigator. You can also check your internet settings if the security meters are too high. Have you tried to uninstall (or at least disable) the Antivirus software temporary to see if that's the reason? Just say no. If it complains, delete the 'Windows' folder and reinstall, or install to another folder. However backup ur data just in case...
