Post by: Axl4Pres on June 11, 2005, 06:16:20 PM Hey guys this is my first post here i love this site been comin here for a while and its great to see there are still alot of GNR fans still out there like me who live and die with this band. ?Now to get to my point back in 02 at the VMA's Axl said how do u create something that already was. ?My question is what is there to create these guys axl has brought in are great musicians they know how to play music and as we saw in their brief tour can play the old stuff very well. ?Obviously i cant speak for Axl himself but to me the focus should be on what the new gnr can do, not what the old gnr did. ?Now i dont know much about what goes into making an album but with the success of the old gnr and current success of velvet revolver is he feeling the pressure of trying to live up to the old gnr legacy as well as starting a new one with this new version.
I look forward to the day that CD hits the stores and believe it will be out no matter what axl puts out i will support and no doubtedly love the music. ?I look forward to gettin ur feelings, thoughts and opinions on this. I sometimes wish Axl had never mentioned CD. Then, if he ever did something, the whole world would have been shocked. We've been expecting an album since 97 and NOTHING has happened. The only good thing about "new" GNR is the failed tour. Out of that tour, we got to hear some new songs. If the failed tour had never happened, I think the GNR online communities would have already disinegrated. Can you imagine GNR forums if the new songs had never happened? GNR forums would have been as interesting as a Skid Row message board.LMAO!!

And since the original Guns dont exist anymore he wants his place back on top as well as the name GnR back on top, so its only sensable that hed erect a new incarnation of GnR :peace:
