I've got this DI jack on the back of my marhsall, do I just plug a chord from the DI jack into my Digital 8-Track? Or will it fry it?

You'll be fine.  I personally don't like direct input.  Try and experiment around with different mic-placement techniques, you might find a better tone to your recordings. : ok:

Not really pictures, just techniques.  www.harmonycentral.com is the best site for musicians.  Surf around on that wesite and you'll find some good articles to get you going.  Good Luck! : ok:
