I think Myst will post again when something changes!  As it is, there's nothing new to report.  In fact, he posted something to that effect a few days ago.
Now, to the Myst-bashers:

Okay.  Here's Mysteron's deal, as far as I know.  Hope this is the right place to put this.  If you are someone who bashes him as a phony, or uninformed, here's the true story.

Myst is NOT an insider, nor has he ever claimed to be one.  He is probably the closest thing to one we'll get, though.
Myst is NOT Tommy's webmaster, a Gn'R member, or a label guy.  He has famous relatives, and he knows famous people through them.
Myst does NOT work for Sanctuary.  He is privy to some info from them through his circle of friends...a side benefit to having famous relatives.
Myst has NOT misled us.  He has given us the information he has been privy to and has gone to great lengths not to compromise the integrity of his sources.  The music industry is fluid...plans change, especially with regard to Uncle Axl.
Finally, his screen name is NOT meant to convey an air of mystery.  As far as I know, the Mysteron were the villians in a kids show called "Captain Scarlet" that Myst is/was a fan of.

Hope this clears it up a bit.  Leave the guy alone!!!  It's cool that he's willing to help out.

All I know about Caligula is that he was an emperor that most historians think was insane.  So...my background knowledge isn't that great on the subject.  But, what does that have to do with me warning MCT about the ?  The content of his message was somewhat crude.

Dear MR Mysteron, we were worrying that you might have been captured by some evil emperors.

Why don't you just send me a pm with the pertinent information about Caligula, Dizzy?  I'm not being facetious, either.  I live in Hicksville, USA.  I frequent our little video stores often and have never seen this video on the shelf.  I'll look for it, but I don't think I'll find it.  I'm willing to learn something new if you'll share your infinite knowledge.   ;D

On topic...Mysteron posted today in the GN'R section so he's not MIA.  Let's just assume he has a life outside of our message board and gets busy from time to time.   :)

I agree that Mysteron has been a good resource for us and much of what he says is true, but I wouldn't hang your hopes on what he says. It's not like he controls the GnR universe.
And if he has news, I'm sure he will post it here as soon as he can verify it, or get the OK to do so. He's not going to keep all of the suffering fans in the dark if there is news to share.

This is usually the time of year we get some sort of news, and Mysteron has been away for a while now.  I have a feeling something is brewing and Axl has some kind of new plan in the works.  Velvet Revolver is everywhere on music countdowns right now, and I know it's eating Axl alive inside.  We need a comeback and there will be so much press surrounding this issue that it would be GOOD for both albums.  If there is anything going on right now, please give us some sort of update with GN'R/Axl.  We'd REALLY appreciate it.

I didn't say he had no life or anything along those lines.  You can say that about anyone.  I go to college, play basketball, work, customize trucks, and have a girl.  That's plenty of a life to deal with, but I still find time at 3 in the morning to post something about my favorite band that I never get news about!  Mysteron seems to be the only one to bring about the positive news for us first!!! So hopefully he will bring it to us SOON!!

Mysteron was last seen with Elvis at a truck stop outside of Denver. They were buying donuts..... :P
