When i saw it (that was on VH2 but i dont think that matters) #8 ACDC #7 GNR ;D ;D ;D #6 Nirvana #5 Led Zepplin #4 Oasis #3 Rolling Stones #2 Queen #1 U2 They change it around though. Why weren't the Stones in the list??? How can Sabbath be better than GNR??? They're meant as lures to get people to read/watch a particular show/publication. Little bite-size segments, easy to read, easy to digest. And then you'll accidentally see some ads and they make money. As for the content of the lists, you could get 6 billion different thoughts on those. Some people wouldn't even put GNR in the top 100. I'm sure a lot of people here would put them at #1... but what does that mean, considering this is a GNR fansite? I think it's cool that GNR is so high in the mainstream music consciousness, even though they haven't had a real album since 1991.

Sabbath are a great band, in fact, after GnR, they're my favourites, I think it's great that they came so high, they don't usually get the recognition they deserve, except from hardcore rock/heavy metal fans.
