How about you sort out your fucking logic first.

We (being, the moderators) have spoken many times about how we don't think the Jungle should turn into a chat room; threads that can be answered in one post, personal conversations that are only relevant to two people, one word replies, smiley only replies etc. etc.

Mainly, because that isn't what people want to read when they come onto a message board. At least, not the majority of the people that come to this one, being why I think that this board is up there with the best on the web. In short, because largely there aren't too many threads like that.

Given your recent conduct (edit I wouldn't normally use that word, and it doesn't suit me...):, I also got the impression that the single reason you created that thread was because it was what was in your head at that particular time; it wasn't something that you had been musing over.

Starting a discussion about a film/book's ending is one thing. Saying 'What the fuck was all that about?' is just a waste of space. Especially, in regards to a film/book that isn't that hard to grasp...

Oh, and just to clear anything up for the confused, this thread is a personal response to me...in public?

It's a reply to a PM I sent him after he PM'd me asking why, 'boo hoo', his thread was locked.

the only thing i recall being told not to do is a simple smiley or a one word replie, now we got all this other shit aswell.

i agree with the mods on this one for once. Some times pm's are necessary for unecessay thread/posts.

i think a chat room would be good. that way all the shit can be done there rather than in threads..

that is the case but that is the way chat rooms have always been..
but then you can also have personel messages where if you are into a full blown convo you can send a pm without being interupted with all the other comments..

and then our threads dont get filled up with crap
