Here Today... Gone To Hell!

Well, as some of you might know, this board was a bit different during the last day.

It was just a late April Fool's joke. We had planned it for the 1st of the month but due to the board being closed, it was kinda impossible to make it happen. So, instead of waiting a year to use an old joke, we just postponed April Fool's day from the month's first day to the last.

Some of you are probably thinking it's stupid, well too bad. Just like in real life, things get postponed sometimes.


Some of you noticed the jokes, while others thought it was something else. Anybody who has read the board for a while should've noticed that the jokes included stuff that has happened here ("What if Axl's name was Skogsal?") as well as jokes on Axl looking like a hip hop star. We changed Axl's name for a day and also made him a hip hop star.

What made you guys think this was funny? We've been waiting 12 years!! The last thing we need is another joke. Now if you would have done this on the day of CD's release date announcement when traffic at the site would have been at an all time high, now that would have been funny!! All you achieved by doing this "fake hack" is play into Axl's hands. It isn't just Axl playing this cosmic joke, now its the fans. The neverending cycle..to be continued.

I disagree with the first point, but the postponing was part of the joke. Originally we planned on postponing it one day, but due to the moving, we had to postpone it a bit more.

How many people are always complaining about everything in the GN'R being late? Concerts not starting at 9pm, no album release etc.

Just because we like to keep the GN'R discussions a bit serious here doesn't mean we're totally humorless and that we can't joke on one day of the year. ;)
