That being said I don't see how an album that's been worked on for so long can suck. Axl's definitely had ample time to work out the kinks.

Too much time, talent, work, and ambition. Will the new album be worth the wait? Will it be as good or better than previous GN'R records? Will it be worthy of Guns N' Roses? Post by: VolcomStone on April 28, 2005, 11:38:39 PM well, i haven't heard "irs", but i do like "the blues" alot. and "chinese democracy" and "madagascar" are good too. i don't like "rhiad and the bedouin" or "silkworms", so hopefully those will be excluded. i don't know, most of the new songs don't seem very heavy on the guitar (alot of synth), so i am hoping robin and fortus provide alot to the new album. i also think that axl's vocals will be alot better recorded in studio as opposed to live, so that most likely won't be a problem either. but, if he's been working on this thing for 10 yrs or so, i hope it's good. the only thing i'm really worried about is the fact that axl has the majority of musical input in the songs, and it will be more his music than anyone else's. unlike the old (real) gn'r, this won't be a great collaboration of writing from a group of musicians.
