Former GUNS N' ROSES guitarist Gilby Clarke has announced the following live appearances during April/May:

STARFUCKERS w/ Gilby, Slim Jim and John Corabi:

Apr. 22 - Club Rain - Costa Mesa, CA
Apr. 24 - Freak Fest - Bakersfield, CA

Gilby solo shows:

May 06 - Mr. Cues - Lancaster, CA
May 11 - Elbo Bar - Dayton, OH
May 12 - Crazy Donkey - Farmingdale, NY
May 13 - Jaxx - Springfield, VA
May 14 ? Dingbatz - Clifton, NJ
May 15 - Continental - NY, NY
May 16 - Pirates Cove - Cleveland, OH

As previously reported, Clarke recently joined the legendary MC5 for their European tour. The group, which is currently being billed as DKT/MC5, consists of original members Michael Davis, Wayne Kramer and Dennis Thompson along with Lisa Kekaula (BELLRAYS, BASEMENT JAXX) and Handsome Dick Manitoba (DICTATORS).

DKT/MC5 have been confirmed for the Download festival, set to take place June 10-12 at Donington Park, Leicestershire, England. Joining them will be some very special guests, including Lemmy from MOT?RHEAD.

Lucky guy. But great find billsguy. Do you think Gilby will at all decide to head to Canada!? It's got to be one of my goals in life to see the man, but all I've seen listed are the California shows, and alot of European dates. This time it's good to see he's heading towards New York and Jersey though too! Let's hope word spreads and he decides to come up here "eh?"  ;)

I would kill to see Gilby play.

Pawnshop Guitars is one of my all-time favourite albums.
