I'm kinda tired of those comparisons with Howard Hughes. They're incredibly exagerated. I've watched the movie and I honestly can't see many common points between those two men. I don't know him personally obviously, but I would bet my ass Axl is nowhere near as eccentric as Hughes was. Two very different personalities here. Just because they both have / had trouble handling the pressure that comes with celebrity doesn't make them identical. Cause this article is based on mostly the NY Times article, and I can't find too many things, or to be more accurate, I can't find any interesting info in this comparing to the NYT's. People here like it more than the other just because it gives no information, there is nothing we can talk about and it's much better for them than an article with some meanings. I realized this during the tour of 2002. He kept playing the same new songs and when he deleted 'Rhiad' and 'Silkworms' from the setlist he didn't replace them with anything new. During the Illusions tour GNR alternated different new songs. That wasn't the case this time. If you're looking for 'Big Guns', look no further than 'Chinese Democracy', 'The Blues', and 'Madagascar'. I'll take those songs over nothing,that's for sure.
