I bought it on Amazon.. It comes with a dvd.. It is some real fucking rare footage there.. Hollywood Rose clips when they are making videos for Shadow of your love and Reckless life.. Also Interviews with Tracii and Chris.. I'm going to put it on this topis sooner today so you all can see it..

I bought it once and it wasn't worthy.

So I'm not buying this thing again... even with a DVD ! :P

I'm going to put up the dvd so you can watch later today.. It's really awesome

I got the cd for christmas so it was all cool for me. I really enjoyed the music on it, and Axl's voice sounds so fucking raw and agressive, its bloody brilliant. I dont really care much about the remixes, the originals are what its all about.

trading "copies" of copyrighted dvd's and/or albums is illegal.

Maybe it is just me but charging full price for a CD for 10 remixes that were not needed was a crime itself and now only selling the DVD with the CD is making hardcore GnR fans buy another copy of this over priced CD. That should be illegal.

Totally Agree... I have the album and I paid for an expensive import version because in my country I couldn't find it, now it's a Deluxe edition with DVD... I?m angry ! I want this version, I love the album because is a piece of GNR history and I like the music on it... But why they didn't release the deluxe version since the begining ? I want a copy and I don't care if it's an illegal copy... I already paid too much fo the first original I got..  :rant:

i dont know if its illegal or not , we all know that for the music industry everything that they dont like its illegal , i dont see how if someone is giving something for free , so he is not making money ,that can be illegal? yes it hurts the industry , and maybe some people dont agree with that (because if people dont buy thing the industry cant keep producing), but thats different of being illegal , i mean the law says one thing and the music indutry keeps saying that sharing music is ilegal , but its not true. or theres a new law that says that people cant share music? i mean really a law.

NOBODY is forcing you to buy the hollywood rose cd/dvd set , so if you think it aint worth the money then let it sit on a shelf. just because you dont think it's worth the money doesnt mean you should have the right to steal it.

I don't think the problem for most hardcore GnR fans is they want to "steal" something. The issue with me is I already had to pay top dollar for a full length cd with 10 bad remixes, now they knew Hollywood rose would only appeal to hardcore GnR fans so instead of putting the CD and DVD together in the begining (because they did have the footage back then) they decided to release the CD by itself, then to help sell more copies of a bad album and Chris making money of the GnR namethey decided to repackage it only with the cd.  If the dvd was sold seperately then I would be interested in buying it (as long as it was priced fair) but I think having to buy a second over priced album just to get something that is now included is not stealing but is owed to us.  Why should us the consumer be punished for buying the cd when it first came out.

Thats just buisness smarts by the label. Buisness my friend. It isnt "nice" but it's smart.

hey , I'll go buy , for example , a new videocard tomorrow .. two weeks later the same company releases a "better" video card with "better features" .. fuck them .. why should I be punished like this?! I'm gunna go steal that new videocard!

100% agree

Actually stores give you a 30 day return policy so you could return the old card and get your money back and then buy the newer sound card. 

And I'm not gonna waste my time arguing with someone who thinks walking into the store and stealing merchandise from a company who has nothign to do with the music is the same as borrowing an item from a friend then you are wrong my friend.

This is a nice clean message board and I think it is the wrong place to place "illegal" links of any kind.  I don't download anything off the internet as I have dial up.

But I don't think it is any more illegal or wrong to make copies of Hollywood Rose's dvd as Chris and the Hollywood Rose Record Company is making money off illegally off of Gnr

You arent "borrowing" anything from a friend .. thats not whats going on here. You download an illegal copy of the dvd and in turn you have no reason to ever go out and buy the original.  ::)
