I came across a live recording of axl rose performing a song i believe is called sex drugs and rock n roll.  I hadnt heard it before and cant seem to find any info on the track or if there was a whole album.  anyone have any idea?

I've just downloaded it off Kazaa and it's a friggin' joke. Those who think it's Axl singing need to get their ears checked. It doesn't even remotely sound like him.
I couldn't even listen to the whole thing it was so ludicrous  :rofl:

i don't know if the download is a fake, but Axl did do the song with Michael. I have it on video. Axl is actually in the video and they talk about the making of it a little. Looked like they were having fun.

It was Hanoi Rocks who did the song and at the begining Micheal Monroe anounces Axl as a special guest. So if you listen you will acually here Axl it's not a fake trust me. No.1 fan Bailyrose. ? Peace.

Its not a fake... how the hell can it be a fake when axl is listed in the credits... i own this album... anyone who thinks its a fake needs to get thier ears checked..

This thread is not about the '89 Michael Monroe tune "Dead, Jail, Or Rock & Roll" - it's about a song available for download on Kazaa, which is credited to Guns N' Roses and includes the lyrics "Whatever happened to sex, drugs n' rock 'n' roll - now when we got AIDS, crack and techno" (lyrics that aren't from the Monroe song). 

These are two different tracks. I can't comment on whether or not the latter song is a fake, 'cause currently my Kazaa is fucked.

I DID read the thread and SAW that the people were talking about 2 diferents songs, one fake ( you saying ) and the other credited to axl too, I just have one and in this one the vocals remember axl to me sometimes

I don't remember if it mentioned Kurt Cobain, but that's probably the one. To be fair, it was so horrid I don't even think I had the courage of listening th the whole thing.  IMO it doesn't sound like Axl at all, but to each their own.....

The Michael Monroe song is not on accoustic.
