When I first started playing I learned "53rd and 3rd" "I just wanna have something to do" "The KKK took my baby away" and "blitzkreig bop" by the ramones in the first week. If you're a fan of them they're fucking fun to learn and extremely easy.

Don't be lazy. You'll never get really good if you don't push yourself. That said, Motorhead songs usually aren't so bad.

I think a good one that everyone can respect that is quite easy (except the solo...) is Don't Cry. Truley a powerful song to let roll off your finger-tips.

AC/DC is fairly simple, just about anything by Nirvana, most punk songs (Ramones, Sex Pistols, etc)

"patience" is pretty easy all the way through... if you can play lead at all, the solo isn't bad.
"knockin' on heaven's door"
"whole lotta love"
"basket case"
"come as you are"
"smells like teen spirit"
etc...
it seems like when you're first starting out it's always a good idea to learn easy chord progressions that are instantly recognizable.  that way if you don't suck at rhythm and especially if you have a voice, you can still impress some people.  don't get frustrated, but i suggest you try learning leads to songs early.  you'll thank yourself later.

Paradise City and Your Crazy, I wouldn't call them easy songs. Your Crazy has the fastest tempo out of all Gn'R songs, I think.
