facng the fact that CD will never be good enough to match the expectations (notthing can be).
people, press, media will surely go " all that for that ?"

how are we going to support CD if it's great (or good) ? i think the fans, especially us, we'll have to "work" hard to support CD and tell people to listen to the music before judging.
and, after that NYT articles, there is no doubt that others mainstream newspaper will write stuff like that, and the lambda person in the street will know about this "CD..."

are you gonna just love the cd , llisten to it and fuck the rest of the world ?
or are you going to support it, review it, tell people the truth ... ?

if axl is scared, he really needs to know, that there is no reason why, he can release his album safely, we're here waiting :)

There aint much we can do! Other than Give alot of positive feedback, and buy the record, posters, t-shirts.. LoL.. Do some private marketing. Tell people how great this is. Go to theys concerts, and write alot of positive shit on the internet!  :rofl:
 But im pretty sure the GNR crew can handle the situation very well. I guess the StreetTeam thing will be started up again, and that is a good idea too help GNR!

Same way I tried "helping" Tommy Stinson? I liked the album so I told other people how great it really is.

If the album is good, then it will sell and make a fair amount of money. Nothing is more powerful than the word of mouth. It only takes one person to tell another that they like the album, then that person will tell another and so on.

But i dont think the album will be any good and listening to Axl sing live, he is crap, i dont think he will get to far. There will be abit of buzz because of the name, but after a month itll be over.

in that case i dont think the quality of the album will speak for itself.
we're talking about years of expectation. of people hating and dissing axl rose (i can understand).
so this is gonna be tough for axl.
cause in the end, he wants the cd to be liked by the public.

i'll buy it. if i enjoy it i'll continue to listen to it and i'll tell other people to buy it too.

Buy a couple copies for yourself. Buy a copy for your friend(s) ... play the album for everyone you know , burn a copy and bring to parties etc etc .. blast it from your car. Call in to your local radio station and demand they play the new single. Pester MTV to play whatever videos are released. Go see them live. Just do whatever you can do.

Word of mouth can go a long way.

I'm already going to buy an album for my brother, sister,  and parents. But I'm going to promote this album to music fans and not so music fans I come in contact with them. I want people to ask me, if they already don't knw, "Who's that playing in my cd player?".

I am going to buy 10 CD's of CD, distribute them to all those who did not believe.  Then, I am going to write a review for my college's newspaper.

Play it at work or wherever, and dont burn copies for your friends. Make them pay for the damn thing if they like what they hear.

I'm think the people at my local cd store, Specs, are going to tell me "Lady! we just restocked that CD! You can't keep coming in here and buying them all!! ?What about all our other customers!?"

So, I'll grudgingly put a couple back on the shelf, and release the remaining ones from my arms onto the cashier's counter for them to ring up.

Download it if leaked, talk about it beforehand  and still buy it after it's release, see the concerts, buy the merch and spread the word.  That's the support it needs.

Well listening to rock in rio 3 and other GNewR recordings Axl doenst sound to good. I heard one which Axl is sing its so easy, he sounds like hes gonna die becaue hes so knackered and then because he has a issue with people wearing slash shirts he misses one of Its So Easy's best parts to have a moun at the security guard.

I am on a GNR board because
1. This is THE best
2. I love GNR, not the new GNR, i do hope they prove me wrong though
3. I like talking about VR also
4. I love keeping updated on the news
5. People give you all sorts of cool info.

The only way to support the band is to buy the album, if it ever comes out. And who gives a shit if other people like it or not!! When it comes out I'm just going to enjoy it while i'm still alive and not care what others think.

everyone around me is already sick of me enough as it is with me always wearing gnr merchendise, listening to gnr, talkin about gnr and singing (or attempting to) the songs.. i'm pretty sure that once CD came out, and gnr are playing constantly on the radio, if i even mention gnr around my friends they'd bitch smack me..  :rofl:
