I would be more interested in writing to Merck and having him back up the statement about allowing an reporter listen to the album and write about the process.
Its simple: Call up Del James and have him spend time listening to the album and learn about the process. I would be very interetsed in his thoughts....You could publish it in some magizine.....and it would be some sort of olive branch to the faithful GnR fans. Some draft this up and send it to Merck. That being said - i do agree with some of you that the best thing to silence all the critics will be to release the album and just go out and kick some serious Rock N Roll Ass.
