in my michelle just after the soft intro and just before the distorted guitar starts playing (0:26). if u listen carefully u can hear a voice it sounds like someone says "yay" or "ok" or something. has this been posted before? metallica do this in some of their songs to like lepper messiah, orion and the god that failed.

Yes, it's someone counting in. I can't hear who but it doesn't sound like Slash or Duff. Maybe it's the recording engineer or Steven?

Nope still can't hear it. That gap between where it stops and the distorted guitars start is dead silent to me. I've listened to this album thousands of times with it full boar in my headphones and ive never heard this secret voice.

yeah i can hear someone either counting in or...? if you turn the song down low (i presume most people blow their ears out listening to gnr  ;) )  you can hear it more clearly -

Wow, Axl really needs to put that album.  We're really reaching for GN'R news now.  I think you can hear a toilet flushing during My World.  Now that's news!!!

FYI, some people might not be able to hear this because some speakers output different frequencies, or certain frequencies higher or lower than others, which can cloud the sound out.  Unfortunately, just because something sounds one way on one set of speakers, doesn't mean it'll sound the same on others.

Well, I listened to it on my computer in surround sound, on my Mp3 player and on a record player and still couldn't hear it? ???

There were some cool things about AFD. At the end of Nightrain, you could hear the ending keep playing, seconds after the actual fade out. There is another song on the G side (for those who listened Vinyls or KCTs) with the same kind of edition, also you could hear how the volume increased in SCOM noticeably (Her hair reminds me of a warm safe place).
I haven't heard the CD so i don't know if these sounds were edited.

WOW. You still have it on only vinyl. The Cd versions book for some reason has a quote from you could be mine "with your bitch slap rapping and your cocain tongue". It also on the inside has the banned cover.

My dad used to have some version of it, i dont know which one and it had the banned cover on it. OMG and he doesnt have it anymore  :no:

Back when the UYI were released me and my buddies used to have the same question about the YCBM verse in the CD booklet. Many UYI songs were written before AFD or around its recording, like YCBM.

Yeah, they wrote that song before Appettite comes out, but didn't put it on the album.  Just like Don't Cry.  Axl explains it on a bootleg DVD I have of them playing live.
