Title: Merck Says Axl Is The Heart Of Guns N Roses Post by: Malcolm on March 04, 2005, 09:26:50 AM In a recent interview with Billboard magazine, Merck Mercuriadis, worldwide CEO for the Sanctuary Group and manager of GUNS N' ROSES, was asked when the band's long-awaited "Chinese Democracy" album will finally see the light of day. Mercuriadis said, "Axl [Rose] is one of the most extraordinary artists of all time. When people hear this album, they will realize what [Axl] did in this band, versus what Slash [former GN'R guitarist] says he did. It will be evident to everyone who the heart, soul and passion of GUNS N' ROSES is."
