The girl (on the station) said don't quote me on this because you know Axl. They probably just heard the HMV rumor.

Remember back in the Illusion days when it was DEFINITELY coming out on May 10th or 11th(dont remember exact date). As we all know, Illusions didn't come out until September.

Making for a total of 11 songs. According to a posting at SuperHeroHype.com, newly recorded tracks by METALLICA, VELVET REVOLVER, AUDIOSLAVE, PEARL JAM, Dave Navarro (ex-JANE'S ADDICTION) and CHEVELLE are among the songs that are slated to appear on the "Batman Begins" soundtrack, tentatively due in late May/early June. Also purportedly scheduled for inclusion are three songs from GREEN DAY (the two newly recorded tracks, and "Boulevard of Broken Dreams", which is said to be the film's "theme song"), as well as newly recorded cuts from THE CURE and FOO FIGHTERS. The person that posted that was proved to be lying. Metallica have confirmed they won't be on the soundtrack. VR are still a possibility but only Boulevard of Broken Dreams has been confirmed for the soundtrack so far.
