Are you sure you're not getting mistaken with the Knockin' On Heaven's Door versions that appear on the Days Of Thunder soundtrack and UYI2? These two were different, though the two Civil War appearances are the same track. But I do remember something being a bit different. Maybe it was the thunder sounds or the way the guitar was mixed at the end. Something like that. I remember the ony way you could get it in '90 was on that compilation. But the rest of it sucked! I taped it off the radio and listened to it that way. But when the Illusions came out, I remember reading that Civil War and KOHD were newly-recorded versions.
