There is a String tribute to  Tool. And that one is GREAT. But i guess theyr music is better do do a string tribute, then GNR.

I bought it a year or two a go and its kick ass.  If anyone wants to hear a few songs from it, let me know and I'll set up a ftp server.

It's working, but as far as I'm concerned the transfer is very slow (around 2 kB/s).

I just posted the damn thing on my university webspace.  All 12 songs are enclosed in the zip file here: http://oak.cats.ohiou.edu/~cw282101/SQTGNR.zip     Hope you all enjoy and I already tested the speed, and it will be downloaded in about 3 minutes.

Thank you.

IMO, some of the songs hold up much better then others on this album.  Mr. Brownstone just doesn't sound quite right...it was a good listen though.

Not my cup of tea. It's almost as bad as hearing a GN'R midi/mobile phone tune. Their music don't work without drums and guitars  ;D

This was terrible, sounded like they put it together in a few hours.  Elevator music lovers would be proud.

I love it. It's great to hear all those songs that I grew up with a new interpretation. But why the cover songs?

I was listening to November Rain in this CD...and I Thought that song would never, ever, could be more perfect then the original version...

I'm not saying that this version is better then the original, but is a great version...

I'm thinkin' Iam gonna play this version of november Rain at my wedding   : ok: - I'm serious!!

I'm not going to split the downloads as that would be a royal pain in the ass to make links for each one individually.  Maybe someone with broadband and access to a decent amount of online storage would do so, but I can not.

Not bad at all.. could be more dramatic, but they are nevertheless pleasurable as they are. That tells how GNR?s opuses are well composed.

Sweetchild with a hint of baroque.  ;D
