Which version of You're Crazy os the best?

1. LIES version
2. AFD version
3. Live Era version

My favorite is the LIES version , I like the way the band changed the song into more of a blues song.

I love the Lies version, it kicks sooo much ass.

Lies is good, but I have to vote for the Live Era version.? That is one of my favorite tracks on the album.? ?:)

You haven't heard the acoustic demo version, have you? It's as good as the Lies v., although really different.

Where can I hear it??

I will upload it in a few days, but as far as I know it was released as a B-side.

I like the Live Era version most. It`s like a mix of the Afd and the Lies version, because it`s as slow as the Lies version but with e-guitars like the Afd version.

it's one of my fav songs---if I was in a band, I'd do a cover of that song.
it's hypnotic (although I've read that Axl wasn't 100% pleased w/ his vocals on that track---although I'd beg to differ!)

this wasn't an option but the 'Welcome To The Jungle' CD single has an alternative acoustic version that i think pisses over all the other version.

I like the Electric version on AFD the best. But the Lies version is a very close second.

I think the live era version combines the greatest elements form the lies and AFD versions. It  might be my favorite thing to listen to. I like the song heavy but it sounds so much better slowed down and bluesy ala lies on live era.

it was a b-side on the reissure of the WTTJ-Single. it's different from the Lies version, but also acoustic. a nice one btw.

Together with lies era, the acoustic version in the single rocks too! It's like LIES but without the electric guitar and the drums.

Quite obviously, the Lies version - cool drumming and double rhythm guitars absolutely rock.  The AfD version sounds a bit hysterical in comparison.  And the Live Era version's good, but the rhythm guitars are overwhelmed by distortion, and Axl's voice sounds strained.

nah, the track is a completely different recording but it's still acoustic, Axl does some really cool screaching sounds during it and instead of it ending with "you're fuckin' crazy..." it just ends with "you're crazy..."

it's also got the coolest count-in intro in existance!!
i could never find it on Kazza or nothing so brought the CD off ebay... then i brought another single, then another, then another... now i got them all on CD!! the 'Days Of Thunder' version of 'Knockin' On Heaven's Door' is probably worth finding too, it's slightly different in the lyrics with Axl singing / saying some cool backing vox!! ?: ok:

the unplugged 93' version is also pretty cool......just as good as lies if not better!  : ok:

The Appettite version is very cool.  It's super fast and heavy, but I still prefer the Lies version.  It's got a really cool loose feeling to it.  Like they're just hanging out jamming and the song came out.  That riff is so cool and it sounds better slowed down.  And Axl does a lot of cool stuff with his voice too.

I hate the AFD version, love the Live Era version but I gotta up to the lies version. Cause hands down thats the best version  :peace:
