Not sure where you have been looking. 99% of the ones I have seen are usually great. It was the best thing I've ever seen!". /jarmo Very true, but if you read through them you can get an idea..It just seems that reviews from Newspapers are usually a joke no matter what band they are talking about. Most of the time they leave before the show is over to meet the papers deadline and they are usually assigned to go to the show so it is more of a job and half the tiem they don't know shit about the bands they are watching.. A fan site might not be the place where you'll find the most objective reviews. /jarmo That is definitely true because as we all know some fans can never find anything negative about their favorite bands. However, I still prefer fan reviews because they are the ones who know the band from the inside out. You can get a much accurate view of how a band is doing by reading the reviews of the hardcore fans. Sure, there will be some overly positive or even overly negative, but I finds fans are more of an accurate barometer of what is going on with a band than some writer who is just trying to sound witty. |
