MCs new song is 2nd and its terrible, what is even funnier is it was written by a simple plan. Maybe If VR lets good charolotte write a new single, VR might get their song up to #1

Dirty Little Thing is a very cool song though.
Title: Re: Dirty Little Thing Catching On Post by: jarmo on January 14, 2005, 12:54:57 PM I never understood people who request songs that are played on the station anyway.
It says "most requested". Do people think they wouldn't play the new U2 single if they didn't request it? It was the same back when I used to watch MTV 10-15 years ago. People would write requests for videos that were on heavy rotation. Kinda sad that VR is the only band I listen to out of those on the Waaf list. :-\ Things were a bit different in the early 90s.... /jarmo Title: Re: Dirty Little Thing Catching On Post by: Eazy E on January 14, 2005, 01:06:17 PM I never understood people who request songs that are played on the station anyway. They have like 2 or 3 request shows (MuchOnDemand, Dedications, etc.), but they only get requests, or maybe they only respond to the requests, for songs that are already on the countdown. It just makes it even more difficult for unknown artists to get their music on TV or the radio. Title: Re: Dirty Little Thing Catching On Post by: Intercourse on January 14, 2005, 01:08:33 PM I agree Jarmo. There is precious little to get excited about these days.
I'm a massive U2 and GnR fan. Muse have tweaked my interest lately but sod all else. Good to seeing it doing reasonably well, but I think it was a poor choice as a single.

I have not come to this board in a while until you started shit about me in another thread, so I just planned on staying for a bit. So you bait me into posting on this board then I do and now I should go back to gnr side? Nice one. Now if you have a problem with me go to PM because your name calling is getting old. When I found that thread I was actually looking for how to spell a new GnR tune to reply to one of your dumb ass annoying posts. So don't give me that shit... Also stop crying about name calling, not too far back I seem to remember you calling me pathetic and I didn't cry. And if you have a problem I will happily give you my address, we can meet and talk about it. Like I have said before, I love how its ok for people to post this distaste for the new gnr songs and Axl on the Gnr board but people are not allowed to say how boring the VR songs are. And its too bad it back fired when you posted my post over here, because you claimed that most of that board likes VR which is far from the truth, most of that board does not like them. OH and you are such a big man, you want to fight me. Grow up. You know your name on here really suits you Tom. Like I said if you have personal issues PM them to me, thank you again. Whatever it takes to get VR's music out to the publis man :peace:
But what ever happened to Sucker Train Blues?!?!. Assuming that there will be 4 singles off this album, they gotta end it strong with song #1, starting with those blaring Fire Truck sirens. MNR Title: Re: Dirty Little Thing Catching On Post by: tomass74 on January 19, 2005, 01:45:59 AM DLT is an ok song. I am thinking headspace or Superhuman woul dbe a good way to go out..On that note I am hoping for two singles because I don't see them not releasing YGNR and I really want another kick you in teh nuts song like Headspace or Superhuman.. I think the BBC Radio 1 DJ mentioned it when he played the track after the Duff and Slash interview last night. Maybe the record company released it to coincide with the UK tour. /jarmo Title: Re: Dirty Little Thing Catching On Post by: D on January 19, 2005, 05:49:48 AM a whole lot of bands will release a single in the US and a totally different one internationally, so thats what i look for.
chili peppers did it with "dosed" in the US and "universally speaking" internationally i know over at the VR website LTA leads the votes for next single closely followed by STB so maybe they will take that into account.
