ok, I don't know how many of you have already seen that pic, but I know it's a rare one. I remember beeing shocked when I saw it for the first time in 2002, then I totally forgot it, and now I've just re-found it. Do you have already see it?

I actually think thats one of the better recent pics I've seen - he looks relativley 'normal'.
However, if it's from 2002, where are the braids?

I think I can kinda see small patches of braids... unless that's the crappy quality of the image lol...

but anyway, I think I know what nesquick is getting at... his forehead doesn't really look right... like the hairline area, it looks like it was altered in photoshop or something.

yes, I just want to know if it's a fake, or not.

There is nothing wrong with that pic.  Axl looked like this during the December 29/31 2001 Vegas shows.  After that he vanished for a while, then came back with FULL braids on the VMA's/U.S. tour.  He had very few braids with straight hair during the 2001 shows.

If you look closely at his forehead it does look like someone has photoshopped someone else's head top onto his. The color of his face and lower forehead don't really match the top of his forehead.

it's not his hair, it's in his eyes and eyebrows I think. try to make a zoom, it's like if he had injection of a product, something like sillicone. Am I mad or someone else also see that?

yeah, that's exactly what I saw too... but then again I guess it could be the lighting. Why would someone photoshop that anyway?  :hihi:

he's gotten hairloss since wttj video so, if he done something about it-
- the hairline will be furher up on the forehead and side-heads (yeah sooo good in english)  :)

and it may causes uneven lines too, maybe cause docs want't a authentic result
not say he did, but if he did,
my sis is a nurse so she know this for sure, i think maybe :-X

yes, that's what I wanted to say and that's the first thing it came to my mind when I saw that pic in 2002. I even e-mailed that pic to a friend back in 2002 and he replied me something like "what the fuck happened on his face? is it Axl?" so it prooves I'm not the only one who think that pic looks weird.

For the eyes (the left one being "black") it's simple: someone used the "red eye removal" effect in Paint Shop Pro or Photoshop.

For the rest, this is too "Dead Horse" for me.

No, this is from a different concert.

I may be wrong, but the picture nesquick posted was taken after the show on 12.31.01 (one of the Vegas shows anyway). This is not a fake, it's just a bad quality JPEG and the red eye removal effect has been used, that's all.

The other pic was supposedly taken after the Osaka or Tokyo shows, in 2002.

yeah that first pic had to be altered cause that last pic of axl he looks cool and all the ones on the 2002 tour he looked cool.

so that first pic had to be played around with cause axl looks freaky in that very first pic but looks good in the rest of the pics ive seen.

I think some of you could consider that whether someone has their hair back AWAY from their face /behind their ears or has it hanging down over/across the sides of thier face does change the appearance of the shape of ones face.

that photo was taken at the time of the hard rock gigs - yes
so are the ones with him in the blue sparkly blazer (in which he has a ponytail)

i have these (and more) in this widescreen desktop i made entirely up of 'recent' Axl photos

his face just looks differently shaped with his hair in a different style

imo he looks not that much different than before 94 and i think he looks pretty good, but on the most non-show photos of 2001-2002 he looks really bored and sick, because he doesn`t want to be on that photos i think. when he smiles he looks
really nice. it has a lot to do with his hairstyle and his mood. but anyway,   does someone have more pics of axl in 2001-2002??
