Post by: rv62900 on December 29, 2004, 06:37:23 AM
Dont know if tis has been on before...but...

I have read on other forums, that Live era is a rerecording!!!!!

Is that really true???? I can hear that the songs sounds better than normal, but anyway???

Sorry if my English is a bit rusty  ::)

yes and no.  I personally think some of the vocals and some instruments are redone/rerecorded.  I'm not complaining, I Think it's fantastic.   : ok: :peace:

I think it sounds AWSOME.. that is one of the best "live" cds.. ive heard..

The band is tight... Axl (rerecorded or not) sounds at his best... the crowd noise is there..

on the right stereo it sounds like being at a GnR concert..

stealing a quote from Gene Simmons and Paul Stanley "Its as live as it needs to be"

yeah, they just took the recordings, deleted some vocals and some guitars, and redone them. For example, Axls voice in Estranged is abviously redone in the studio.

Just the first half, the 2nd half is live.
