Title: White Trash Wins Lotto
Post by: the dirt on December 27, 2004, 05:20:11 PM
This was a musical type show/performance based on the life of axl rose. It played in LA around '99, 2000.

Anyone remember this, or know more about it? Anyone actually see it?

there were two mentions of this in rolling stone...don't have the articles with me at the moment....
but from what I can remember....it was put on by a guy who tried his hand in bands and what not, and had a small success with this production.  There was mention that he had hoped to take it to the big stage (i.e. perhaps broadway)---but obviously, it didn't pan out.

I never heard of it.  :-\

I'm surprised that nobody here has seen it though.
