He was the singer of the band. Famous for his acting in the movie " The Wall" He was also married ( I think) to the woman who was dating Michael Hutchence before the latter died. Anyway, the rats were labeled " New Wave". I know a few of their songs cause I grew up in the 80's. " I Don't like Mojndays", " Rat Trap" and "Banana Republic" are amongst their biggest hits.
